In 2023, we opened the doors to Northside Dog Retreat, a doggy haven that's a stone's throw away—just 10 minutes from Mohawk Racetrack and an easy 30-minute ride from Toronto Pearson Airport. Our retreat's all about giving your dog a spacious spot to unwind and have a ball, away from the city hustle.

Playtime, nap time, snack time—it's all tailored for their happiness and your peace of mind. Your dog's safety is our top concern at Northside Dog Retreat. With 18 hours of hands-on care from our trained staff every day, we make sure your pup gets the attention and care they need. Around the clock, our facility is safeguarded with 24-hour security systems, including noise level monitoring, to ensure a secure and serene environment for your dog's stay.
The Playground
At Northside, we're proud to have Halton's largest outdoor gated play area for dogs. With options ranging from cozy 80' x 80' spots to vast 500' x 500' fields, we've got the perfect space for every pup, whether they love to sprint, play, or just bask in the sunshine. Here, every dog finds their slice of heaven to frolic and relax.
Luxurious Accommodation
Northside Dog Retreat, places your pet's comfort at the heart of everything we do. Our accommodations are thoughtfully designed to provide a true home-away-from-home experience. Each canine guest enjoys the luxury of the spacious 10ft by 12ft rooms, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind for our furry friends.
These rooms are equipped with heated flooring, creating a cozy and inviting environment that ensures your dog stays warm & comfortable, regardless of the weather outside. We believe in providing more than just a place to stay—we offer a warm, personalized sanctuary for each of our furry friends.
Additionally, we have implemented a state-of-the-art air filtration system, alongside our heated flooring, to ensure that your pet's health and well-being remain our top priority throughout their stay.
